International fam-tour on Sakhalin

 On December 2-8, in the frames of Far Eastern tourism week, a fam-trip for representatives of tourism industry of Japan, China and South Korea were held. Among the participants of the international fam-tour there are delegates of major
travel companies, tour operators who plan to organize and increase the tourist flow from their countries to Sakhalin.
 This event was held at the initiative of the government of the Sakhalin region with the support of the Federal Agency for tourism.
 The Far East, having a significant tourist potential, today is experiencing a
real dawn of the development of inbound tourism and finding receptive audience to
an increasing number of travelers.
 The eventful program of the fam-trip is designed for 7 days and includes a variety of excursions. On the first day, the participants of the international fam-tour will visit the main objects of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk city, the Museum of local lore, the memorial complex "Pobeda". On the 3 rd of December there will be a trip to the Coast of Okhotsk Sea, as well as a visit to the recreation center "Aquamarine" and equestrian club "Aristocrat".
 Participants of the international fam-trip will be able to get in touch with Russian culture by tasting delicious seafood dishes of national cuisine like fresh crabs, fresh scallop octopus-delicacies, which are famous for Sakhalin cuisine.
 The tour participants will also take part in business program of the Far Eastern tourism week, where they will be able to share their impressions and talk about the subtleties of reception foreign tourists, which should be paid attention to when organizing ground handling.

 At the end of the fam-trip the excursion to the island of Iturup-the pearl of the Kuril is organized! The participants of the fam-tour will have a unique opportunity to see numerous natural and historical monuments live, swim in natural hot springs and get unforgettable impressions.
